Johann Roebelen, D.C.
Dr. Roebelen attended Roger Williams University where he obtained his Bachelor’s in Science. Shortly after graduating he was hired at Joslin Diabetes Center, in Boston and worked there for 2 years. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, the fountain head of chiropractic care, and the leader in chiropractic education around the world. During his time at Palmer, he specialized in extremity, activator, drop table, gonstead, diversified, manual adjusting, pediatrics, geriatrics and physical therapy modalities. It was at Palmer that he met his fiancé Esther Brummund. He graduated in February of 2020.
Dr. Roebelen was born in Hartford Connecticut. As a child he lived in several states, moving around a lot due to his father’s job. He lived in Massachusetts, Indiana, Connecticut and even Sussex Wisconsin! He was an avid wrestler as a kid and won a New England Wrestling Championship. He graduated from Loomis Chaffee High School. His first encounter with chiropractic came during high school. While wrestling he sustained a bad pinched nerve in his back. After several months of chiropractic care an unexpected result also happened. The chronic daily migraines he suffered from, went away completely. In the future he became a wellness patient and went in once a month for a tune up. Although this was a rare chiropractic case, it can happen.
Dr. Roebelen’s hobbies include hiking, camping, fishing, video games, hunting, and spending time with his fiancé. He has no greater passion than chiropractic care and believes in helping the patient no matter what that entails. He treats with compassion, respect and always takes his time. Please help us welcome him to our clinic!
Dawn P. - Certified Chiropractic Technician, Billing Specialist
"I first saw a Chiropractor in 2000 after being rear-ended in a car accident. I had neck and lower back pain in addition to headaches since I was 15 years old. The accident made my pain worse. Chiropractic adjustments made my pain and headaches much better. I continue maintenance treatments every 1-2 weeks to make sure I stay as healthy and pain-free as possible."
Dawn has been a Certified Chiropractic Technician at Zumstein Chiropractic Clinic since 2006. Her duties include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, billing and collections, interacting with insurance companies and performing therapies on patients.
Courtney K. - Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Chiropractic Technician
Courtney has been a licensed massage therapist since 2015 and a chiropractic technician since 2018. She specializes in neuromuscular therapy, trigger point, cranial sacral, lymphatic, sports massage and treating patients with cancer. Chiropractic adjustments are performed by applying gentle, yet firm pressure to a bone with goal to restore the bone to its natural, or original, position. Massage therapy can be used in conjunction with chiropractic by manipulating the soft tissues of the body helping maximize the effects of the adjustment. When Courtney is not at work, she spends her time with family and friends enjoying hobbies such as yoga, going up north, outdoor activities, traveling and taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes.
